I think Sony's biggest mistake was rolling this out mid-generation. They really should've waited till the next incarnation of the PSP to make such a bold move.
They are going to have a hard time streaming current PSP owners to be go owners when they are forced to sacrifice their whole catalog.
As for me, I'm not keen on a digital download future for a lot of reasons. You sacrifice too much to have the convenience. I do think that Sony is taking the right approach in terms of content distribution. Having both digital and physical form of the media is an effective was to provide content to your consumers. However, the pricing of digital goods still needs some drastic retooling. You can't offer less for the same price. Most current consumers simply won't latch on to that.
The art direction in this game is great. I'm really looking forward to checking it out.
How does this appease the European Retailers again?
Ubisoft's E3 presentation was so focused on this it was annoying. Then James Cameron came out and bored us to tears worse than anything in the conference prior.
I saw this sale go up last night. Definitely grabbing Badman, might grab Blade Dancer as well. NIS is awesome.
Cave going global is great news for all shmup fans. I definitely hope they can get something going on XBLA.
More Ghostbusters is always a good thing!
Gorgeous. I really hope they remake this game for the PS3.
As a programmer I have a soft spot for homebrew. I don't see the purpose in defeating its usage. At least with Wii homebrew, playing pirated games is not a function enabled out of the box. Prohibiting that functionality is more understandable, as it does actually hurt Nintendo's business.
