The controls always get to me in Resistent Evil games. I get a few hours in, and I can't take it anymore. I will try one again, though. I like everything else about those games.

I have some version of that game on DS which I still haven't tried.
I feel like I tried Baten Kaitos once, maybe I owned it too. I definitely remember seeing it at Gamestops and wanting it at least. I'd love to give it a spin now. The card art reminds me of the Culdcept games, which I really like.
I love a good card battler.
Wah? Was it originally turn-based? I'm ashamed to say I've never played it.
I think I've already friended you on PSN, but I'll check.
That's a neat story I never knew about. Of all the sports, I really like hockey the best. In fact, my friend is right now getting an autograph by the famed Philadelphia Flyers goalie Bernie Parent. I wish I was there right now.
I like hockey games a lot too. I should also get one.
I played Blue Dragon a ton when Xbox 360 tried to woo a Japanese and Japanese loving audience early on. I also got Vesperia but never got to it. It's still sitting on my Xbox One now with back compat.
Turn-based was mainstream but now is niche. I really don't like series like Final Fantasy trying to make a turn-based game all actiony. I remember being very annoyed that everything had to be action based in rpgs in '06 or so.
I remember it came out just after Activision laid Skylanders to rest, so they were in a field of their own. I guess it was "oops, we didn't know toys-to-life was ending" for them. But, I wanted it still and wish there were still more of those types of games out there.
I'd love to get back into paper graphic novels. One of these days when I'm more flush.
