Just heard about this a few minutes ago, what a shame. I'm not much into the whole Hollywood scene, but he's one of those faces I'll miss seeing in new films. The fact that he died by his own hand makes it sting that much worse. RIP.

Personally, I think I just kind of feel bad for Phil Fish. If Indie Game: The Movie is any indication, the guy seems to suffer from some really bad depression and I don't think he's particularly equipped to cope with real world problems. Most of his reactions to situations are the way I'd expect a child to behave and that seems to link directly back to whatever internal issues he's coping with. All that being said, he doesn't seem like the kind of guy I could go get a beer with. I may have some sympathy for him, but he definitely couldn't be my friend.
As far as Fez goes, the game is truly fantastic. I'm more interested in the art than the artist - that being said, if I like the artist behind something in particular it'll likely increase my appreciation for their art. For whatever reason, it's not the same in the opposite direction, but I'm glad because I'm sure there are plenty of artists that are just despicable human beings.
For whatever it's worth, we did a Backloggers on System Shock 2 about a year ago (wasn't my favorite). Check it out here if you're interested:

I personally prefer P1 to P2, so I vote for that!
The Last of Us WAS terrible. So don't worry, you're not the only one in that camp. However, I do actually like the RE games. Really wish this was hitting the Wii U though.
Nice! Hope they localize this one too. Already have it on the DS, but the 3DS remake of the first was awesome.
If I didn't already own most of these games, I probably would've went for the highest pricing tier. Regardless, I think I'm going to toss in a buck for Anachronox, Mini Ninjas, and Daikatana since I don't have those already.
This is literally the best thing ever.
I have! I actually reviewed it back when the Vita first came out and absolutely loved it. I went back and played Drinkbox's first Tales from Space game after that and really enjoyed that too.
I'll keep an eye out for your review. Best I can tell, Guacamelee is pretty universally loved. That makes me happy because this studio is really talented and I'd love to see them continue to grow and succeed.
I've said it before, but I'll say it again. I sure hope they eventually open up Mario Kart to the entire Nintendo roster and do something really awesome with that crossover potential like they do with Smash Bros.
As of right now, Mario Kart is on the edge. Each iteration is better than the last, but only slightly. Thankfully a new Nintendo system isn't on the horizon, so it's going to be a good long while before we get a new one, but hopefully they use this time to start thinking up something more original than what they've been doing in the past.
