Congrats, man! It's a great game, can't wait to jump back into it for NG+ when I have some free time.

I kind of got the impression that this is what we were in for with this game. I still might check it out if/when it's on sale, but I can see myself growing tired of it fairly quickly.

The 3D is definitely put to good use in this one. I've really enjoyed it as well and I'm still logging hours with it on my 3DS. Now that you mention Return to Dream Land, I think I may have to give it another shot. For some reason I really wasn't enjoying that one, so I bailed on it after a few levels. Might've just been the wrong game to play at the time. If it's anything like this, I'm certain I judged it prematurely.

Absolutely. It's a gorgeous game. I've had my Wii U hooked up to an older Plasma TV in my room and it's looked great, but the other night I had it running on my newer LED TV and man does it shine. Hoping that we see some other Nintendo properties that really flex the Wii U's power. It might not have the horsepower that the PS4/X1 have, but used properly it does pretty well.

Yeah, the split-screen multiplayer mode does run at 30 instead of 60. All of the other modes at the game are at 60 though, which is nice. It's a solid game, but Nintendo definitely needs to step it up when they make 9.

With Watch Dogs, I'm going to wait on the zanier sequel (a la Saints Row),

They do, though they seem to have gone out of print in America. Here's a japanese version that Amazon will fulfill.

The game does control quite well. Granted, it's kind of awkward to hold the stylus in one hand and the 3DS in the other (especially an XL), but once you find a comfortable position, you're good to go.

If you like the whole dual analog set-up, you can get a Circle Pad Pro and go to town.
