They do, though they seem to have gone out of print in America. Here's a japanese version that Amazon will fulfill.

The game does control quite well. Granted, it's kind of awkward to hold the stylus in one hand and the 3DS in the other (especially an XL), but once you find a comfortable position, you're good to go.
If you like the whole dual analog set-up, you can get a Circle Pad Pro and go to town.
Nice! If you liked Mario Kart 7, I think you'll enjoy MK8 just as much, if not more. It's gorgeous, plays smooth, and incorporates a bit more strategy due to the antigrav stuff. Plus the tracks are phenomenal. Good stuff all around.
From favorite to least favorite:
Mario Kart DS
Mario Kart 8 (Playing it for review now, it's great)
Mario Kart 7
Maro Kart: Double Dash
Mario Kart 64
Mario Kart Wii
Super Mario Kart
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
This promo from Skittles might get you over the hump (or at least allow you to move your save file to your local HDD).
That call to Storm City is made of win. Fantastically awkward on both ends. I love it.
Great blog! Definitely love some of your picks as well. Also, Kirby Triple Deluxe really is great. I'm also playing that and enjoying it quite a bit so far.
You're definitely right there. If you've played Mario Golf, you've played Hot Shots golf. Basically the same game with a different coat of paint. Though Mario Golf is a bit zanier due to the Mario influence, which I think makes it a bit more interesting.
It definitely helps that Nintendo is selling the game a little cheaper, but the actual product does feel like it's missing something without that content in there. It's not the end of the world, and quite frankly, if all of the DLC was on the cart from the get-go, I probably would've awarded the game an extra half star at most.
Regardless of that particular facet of the game, it's still a great title and a worthy purchase. Despite my complaints, I'll probably take the plunge on the DLC because I'm sure it's worth it.
Well, can't argue with more Souls. Didn't want to buy a PS4, but this will make me do it. Damn you Sony/From.
