Looks like that Dualshock got an STD.

Man, it's hard to pit almost any platformer against Super Mario World. What an absolutely phenomenal game - it's probably my favorite 2D entry in the series (yes, SMW > SMB3).
As a collector, I'm not much of a fan of the red PS3 cases because it means I'm not getting an original print of the game. I also do think they're ugly, but that could be an unconscious reaction to the color because I know it's not original.
Also, a lot of the different colored cases for greatest hits games also results in modified box art that's not usually very nice. The Platinum Hits on the 360 spring to mind in particular.
Of course, I understand the value in the practice. Publishers do this in an attempt to make it stand out from the other games on the shelf as something special, but the result often seems tacky to me.
RE5 actually wasn't too bad with a human ally. Chessa and I had some fun with it over the course of a few nights, but I could see it being absolutely awful without another person in tow.
I went for close quarters combat with the electric baton thingy and Chessa hung back with the gun-based weaponry. It worked out well and made for good team synergy. Those DLC packs though... not so good.
Beyond Good & Evil!
It's definitely nice to have this one on-the-go. I personally didn't think the 3D was anything too special compared to the other 3D Classics I played, but it's not bad or anything. I do still love the game's visuals and its soundtrack. Both are classic.
For me, I think Sonic 2 strikes the best balance as it's always been my favorite. Nothing wrong with this one though. It's not a bad game at all and I think if the Sonic Team wants some inspiration, they should go back to the basics and find it here. It would allow them to make the right kind of Sonic game for the future, but who knows if they'll ever do it.
If I get the time, I'm going to write a review on Lost World, which I think did a great job of capturing old Sonic feel in 3D.
Crap, I don't want to go to China!
That panda is entirely too adorable. Don't show this picture to Chessa, she'll undoubtedly want one.
