Thanks. I've been tempted by x-coworkers to go back to my previous work, but I really want to get away from that. I want something slightly less crappy.
Oh, and I just watched Open Season, that animated film from '06 about the park ranger and her adopted grizzly bear. It was kind of good. The Scottish squirels were funny. Have you adopted a grizzly bear? Ha ha .
I've got some choices. Let's see. I've got a used record shop and two used book shops. Then there are several GoodwIlls and all the library book sales. I just wish I had an indie video game shop. Gamestops are everywhere but I've really fallen out with them. Their agressive sales style these days has totally turned me off. I used to know so many people in those stores too. Sad.
I try and go to this healthfood store, Mom's. Usually Whole Foods is closer but I like smaller health food stores. There's a more intimate feel there and a true health food store has better choices.

I want so many games coming this Fall, but will not get them. Unless they appear on Game Pass, which means only MS first party titles. I can't complain too much. I have so many games to play between retro, Games with Gold and Game Pass. If I had PS+, what more? I may consider it instead of buying new.
Good luck with the job search. I'm going to hit that a little harder near the end of this semester. I've had enough school, I want to work.

That's like me when I turn on my Xbox One. I have immediately a dozen choices. I dove into Lego SW IIII because Mark was playing it and sometimes we compete with each other over achievements, or completion time. I really want to replay Banner Saga 1 and 2 and see if I can beat them this time. Then get Banner Saga 3.
I want to hear all about DQXI. I have to vicariously play it through you and Matt. Ha ha.
I like that you prefer to buy local. I do as well. There's something extra personal about going down to the store, meeting the people there, and getting your product. It's soulless online.

I'm finding the series less annoying in the story department (with all the constant reminders of lines from the films), but more annoying in the graphics department. Why are all the characters so stiff in their animations? They also look like they are made up of polygons, those things that made characters look so ugly in N64 games.

When I play a game where you turn the Wiimote sideways, and there's no motion controls or pointing at the screen, it's great. It's just too fatiguing to keep pointing at the screen for long periods.
I think my friend actually finished it today. He was a little bit ahead of me but not much. That means the game is very short. Of course there's free play and all the collectibles. I will surely go after those.
