I was on the fence with getting 3D World at launch, but this trailer definitely pushed me over the edge. Super excited for it to drop, I just hope I can finish up Zelda before this one arrives. All my money are belong to Nintendo this holiday.

This game is great. Played a few dungeons already and I'm hooked. Can't wait to play more tonight!
Excellent...
Here's Chessa's review of the game from back in our NWR days, if anyone is interested.
Dawn of Discovery is FANTASTIC. I can't recommend it enough for anyone who likes city building games. The Wii pointer controls make it a joy to play and the art style works well for the lower res graphics. Definitely a gem.
Same here. It's pretty much the only Final Fantasy game I've ever really enjoyed.
Persona 3/4 all day for me. Wish I had time to write something up for this, but man, those games had a fantastic battle system that had so many unique threads running through it, I don't think anything could ever match up to it.
I'm definitely more of a mechanics guy. I don't think Angelo was exactly spot on when he said that I don't appreciate immersion - I just don't associate immersion necessarily around the narrative. A game can be immersive for many reasons - the world construction, the characters, the story, and the gameplay can all create immersion.
In my case, the narrative isn't a hugely compelling part of the experience and I tend to shy away from games with too much exposition. I find most game stories to be pretty poorly realized and they don't tend to hold my attention. I'm more about solid gameplay and innovation. Games that excel there tend to be my favorites.

Right there with you - it's ok though, the beta is almost upon us!
WCW vs. NWO Revenge easily wins on this one. In that game, using the GameShark, you could bring the half-finished version of Wrath into the game as a permanent addition to the roster. In large part, he works flawlessly - his model is accurate and I'm assuming his movesets were accurate too... except for the one that glitches.
If you get a guy on the floor nd perform the lion tamer, well, let's just say that it glitches and suddenly Wrath is using the ring as his personal bedroom. See the following video at 1:50.
Love the stencil on that GamePad. Wish my launch version had that!
