Some of them log hours spent, which is helpful, but I just record it at the end of the day if I play anything.

As far as you know.
Transition year for me too and will continue into 2018. Good luck, it seems things are settling down a bit for you. Happy new year!
VC4 and NNK2 are both my most anticipated as well. Maybe Crackdown 3 too, if it actually comes out.
I love resource gathering. Sometimes I can't find a slime to make a leash and those things are really useful for corraling animals and hitching horses so they don't run off. Also, you can turn off auto saves to control them, then you can just return to a previous save if you lose stuff. I should do that, but it's kind of a hassle to remember to do it. I usually forget after a long time and then lose even more stuff.
Minecraft's various updates have turned that Dragon into a real terror. Last time it threw both of us off that tiny island he lives on in less than a minute. I was ready to be swatted around some but I was into orbit at the first hit this time.
Mass Effect Andromeda is so gorgeous. I'm astonished at its underlying complexity and wealth of voice work. Cut scenes are hardly noticeable they are so well integrated into the gameplay.
Yonder sounds fun.
I was just talking to Mark about the difference between human common sense and the rules of a game. As games get more realistic, we apply more real world common sense to problem solving and sometimes it doesn't work because there's some hidden rule in the programing that you aren't aware of and that doesn't come under real world common sense problem solving.
It took me forever to get a smart phone. I wonder how long it will be before I upgrade it?
Can Link upgrade his phone so he can have free calls from the desert?
Play more will not be one of my goals. I play plenty already. I'm tempted to set a goal to play less, but that will probably happen naturally once I get back to full time work.
Some goals of mine: Continue my monthly look back at a particular year in media. This guides my book, music, film and game choices. Additionally for games, I think I'll use the first week of the month for retro and then focus on new games the rest of the month. I'm going to rent them to save money. My actual purchases will be limited to any downloadable-only titles and any I need to fufill my monthly retro journeys (most of those I already have).
Open world fatigue. I think it should be listed in the DSM.
Thanks. You too. I'm taking part in a LinkedIn workshop once a month this spring. I was there because I am tasked with taking photos by the library, but I decided to sit in on the whole workshop myself. It's pretty interesting. Also, it was suggested that being engaged with multiple social media sites was beneficial. That is showed to employers that you were savy with the latest technology. I'll try and use twitter more and maybe join instagram. What fun!
